On Tuesday 22 May, Year 12 Geography students completed fieldwork at Tamburlaine Organic Wines in the Hunter Valley as part of their case study on a local economic enterprise.
During the visit, students were given a comprehensive tour of the vineyard which included an insight into sustainable vineyard management, organic vine cultivation and the winemaking process. Students were also able to examine the different types of packaging found on Tamburlaine’s wine which varies depending on their target markets.
Overall, students enjoyed gaining valuable knowledge in the field for their HSC studies.
