Event Essentials Course Meetings & Events Australia has launched a new introductory course for entry level candidates who are seeking to understand the event industry or build a foundation of understanding and skills. The events industry has a range of career pathways and this course will provide an overview of what options are available. The Event Essentials Program can be used as an entry point into the meetings and events industry. It is accessed online and has support from the MEA’s training faculty with assessments that relate back to industry case studies. This blended learning allows you to commence your professional development pathway without interrupting your workplace commitments while still studying in a supportive learning environment. This new program is an accredited course allowing candidates to finish with certificates of attainment for two nationally recognised units of competency that can be applied to many other VET programs, including the SIT50316 Diploma of Event Management. Tocal College (NSW DPI) Scholarship Program Provides Significant Financial Assistance Tocal’s Scholarship program awarded funds to over 70% of full time students with mid-year allocations to occur. Scholarships are held in student accounts and used for course costs and approved extra-curricular training activities e.g. Bison Horse clinics, Working Dogs or Trials Motorbike courses. School-based Apprentices Can Apply or Bert Evans Apprenticeship Scholarships The Bert Evans Scholarships provides hard-working first-year apprentices experiencing financial and personal hardship with financial support to help them undertake their training and contribute to the community. Tocal College (NSW DPI) VET Student Outcomes The release of recent NCVER, nationwide VET survey results has provided a score card for Tocal College with the following highlights. Of subject completers: 94.0% were employed or enrolled in further study after training 90.8% were satisfied with the overall quality of their training 96.9% would recommend the training and 95.4% would recommend their training provider. https://www.tocal.nsw.edu.au
