drama excursion year 9

On Wednesday 17 October, Year 9 Drama students travelled to the Opera House to watch An Accidental Death of an Anarchist.

Written by Italian Nobel laureate Dario Fo in 1970, the play is performed in the theatrical style of farce and has a political sting in its tail making it an absurdist classic.

Students were also fortunate enough to attend a pre-performance Q and A session with Polly Rowe, Literary Manager at the Sydney Theatre Company and Jacqui Cowell, Education Projects Officer.

Our students displayed exemplary behaviour and will now engage in a critical analysis of the play.
