This week, the first week of Term 3 we gathered to acknowledge NAIDOC Week (6-13 July). Students and staff took the opportunity to reflect on and honour the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with our students sharing a powerful cultural dance with the College. As part of CSDPβs Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), students also danced in a smoking ceremony at Nurringingy Reserve, during a meeting where the CSDP Board and Formation members formally committed to advancing reconciliation. They discussed ways to build stronger relationships, respect, and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. A big thank you to Jannawi Dance Clan for teaching our young people the traditional dances. π€πβ€οΈπππ€ #NAIDOC2025 #NAIDOCWeek #StrengthVisionLegacy
