This week, our Year 9 to 12 Agriculture and Primary Industries (VET) students attended AgVision, NSW’s leading agricultural and agribusiness careers expo, held at Sydney Showground. AgVision introduces students in Years 8–12 to a wide range of exciting career pathways in agriculture, extending far beyond traditional farming. The event showcases opportunities in science, technology, and agribusiness, offering hands-on experiences and mentoring from industry experts. Students were inspired by engaging workshops and interactive displays that broadened their understanding of the agricultural sector and the diverse skills needed for future careers. 🎭 Year 10 Drama - Sharp Short Theatre Competition 🎭 Our talented Year 10 Drama students took to the stage at Riverside Theatres last week as part of the Sharp Short Theatre competition! Italian Social Club 🇮🇹✨ Year 8 and 9 students had their first Italian Social Club event of the year! The afternoon started with refreshing limonata and chinotto, followed by exciting rounds of Briscola, a traditional Italian card game where players compete to capture high-value cards and score points. The fun continued with a lively Kahoot quiz, and ended on a sweet note with a delicious dolce. A huge grazie to Signor La Guzza, Signor Oscan, and Signora Choca for joining the students and making the event truly memorable. What a wonderful way to end the week.
