On Tuesday, the St John Paul II community gathered in prayer to mark the end of a remarkable year and to present the Vinnies Christmas Hampers to St Vincent de Paul. This season calls us to look forward with hope, extending care and support to the most vulnerable in our community. As Christians, we are called to uphold the dignity of every person, especially during the sacred time of Advent, through acts of compassion, generosity, and love.

This semester, our Year 10 Industrial Technology โ Wood students designed and constructed an occasional table as part of their Design & Construct Project. ๐ชตโจ Each piece was supported by a detailed portfolio showcasing their design process, creativity, and craftsmanship from concept to completion.

โจCareers Expoโจ Year 10 and 11 students attended the StJPII Careers Expo this week, exploring a wide range of career pathways and engaging with representatives from various industries and institutions. The event was a tremendous success, and we are sincerely grateful to our partners whose generosity, time, and expertise made it possible. Their ongoing support plays a vital role in expanding opportunities for our students, and we truly appreciate their commitment to helping them thrive in an ever-evolving job market. ๐ Alumni Leadership Panel ๐ Yesterday we welcomed back the 2025 Year 12 College Leaders to support our current Year 10 students in their Step Up Into Senior Studies week. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful panel members, Andrea, Mikhail, Jobel, Analiese, Jasika, Danie, Noah, and Isabella. Your thoughtful insights, generosity of spirit, and mature approach to learning were truly appreciated. Your guidance will greatly assist our Year 10 students as they prepare to build on their strengths and step confidently into Years 11 and 12.

๐STEP UP INTO SENIOR STUDIES๐ Year 10 started off Week 9 at our Nirimba Senior Campus to commence the Step Up Into Senior Studies program. We welcomed them with a BBQ breakfast before commencing their sessions for the day, creating a warm and positive start to their transition into senior school.
