St John Paul II Catholic College celebrates 30 years of Catholic Education 🎉 Our College recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary with a Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral Parramatta, followed by a morning tea with former staff, past Principals and community dignitaries. During the Mass, Bishop Vincent Long Van Nguyen reminded the community that Catholic schools are places where young people are formed and transformed in Christ. Inspired by the vision of Pope John Paul II, the College continues to nurture students who are compassionate, courageous and committed to making a difference. ✨ See more photos via this link: https://www.stjohnpaul2.catholic.edu.au/news-events/news/2026/03/19/01/54/st-john-paul-ii-catholic-college-celebrates-30-years-of-catholic-education #StJPII #CatholicEducation #30Years

Year 11 HMS and VET Fitness students recently visited the Sports Hub at Blacktown Olympic Park to participate in a Student Enrichment Day hosted by Australian Catholic University (ACU). During the visit, students gained valuable insights that enhanced their understanding of exercise science and will support their learning as they complete upcoming assessment tasks. The day provided students with the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge through a range of practical activities. 🏃♂️💪 Students participated in hands-on experiences including lactate testing, hot and cold recovery therapy pools, and Wingate performance testing. These activities allowed students to explore how sport science is used to measure athletic performance and recovery. Overall, the excursion was an engaging and valuable learning experience for all students involved. 🙌👏

Our 2026 College Leaders had the honour of attending a special morning tea hosted by Warren Kirby MP, Local Member for Riverstone on Wednesday 11 March, with a guest appearance by Chris Minns, Premier of New South Wales. The event recognised the achievements of young leaders across the electorate and provided a valuable opportunity for our students to engage with Warren, Chris and fellow student leaders from other schools. A special mention of our students was also recorded in Hansard, the official record of the NSW Parliament, ensuring their leadership and achievements are formally recognised and preserved. 👏 Congratulations to Ty, Tyarrah, Nirmay and Shreya on this well-deserved recognition. 🌟 #Leaders #College #StJPII #Blacktown #Schofields #Nirimba
