SJP2 2018 Vocational Education and Training

An enormous congratulations to all our outstanding VET students who received awards at the 2018 Student Excellence Awards

All Vocational Education and Training (VET) students are required to undertake work placement as part of their VET course. Students participate in one week in the first year of study, followed by another week in their second year of study. Our work placement provider, Schools Industry Partnership (SIP), Penrith, sources our host employers.

On the 12 September 2018, SIP hosted their annual work placement awards for employers and Year 12 students at Wyndham College, Nirimba. All of our Year 12 VET teachers nominated a student in their class that demonstrated excellence and received positive feedback from their employer. St John Paul II Catholic College had three students nominated across four VET courses.
