On Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 October, Year 10 attended the Windsor District Baptist Centre for their 2014 Reflection Days. Every year, each grade has the opportunity to have some time away from the usual school environment to reflect on their faith and spend time bonding with their teachers and peers.
For Year 10, they enjoyed two days full of inspirational talks and group activities which allowed them to reflect on themselves and others around them. The inspirational talks linked with the activities, including activities using masks to portray how you see yourself and how others see you. They also had the opportunity to recreate lyrics to the song “Living on a prayer” by Bon Jovi and performing it to their peers, linking to their Term 4 Learning Enrichment Program.
Overall, the students had a fantastic time with their peers and made the most of an opportunity to reflect and action what they learnt from the talks and activities. Congratulations Year 10 on your exceptional behaviour.
