Year 10 were lucky enough to have members of the Bell Shakespeare Company come to the College to perform their MacBeth “Rehearsal” in the PWS.
Bell Shakespeare Company come to the College to perform their MacBeth “Rehearsal” in the PWS. This performance should aid students in visualising their Shakespeare texts and allow them to understand the story in its entirety.
A critical analysis of a particular text can be a combination of picking techniques and someone's own interpretation.
Having the Bell Shakespeare crew perform the 'rehearsal' of Macbeth challenged students to understand the play in a different way, put pieces together and make their own sense of the techniques and drama.
Thank you to our visitors for coming out to Schofields and dissecting the play, and to Mr Gilholme for organising the event.
