Terra Sancta College would like to congratulate Year 12 student, Oliver Clark, who has been selected to represent Australia in the Under 18s International Rugby League Competition taking place in Europe this November!
Oliver has been playing rugby league for over 13 years, beginning with the Quakers Hill Destroyers and moving on to play for the famous Penrith Panthers as front rower. This month long journey will be the first time Oliver has played rugby league overseas, playing against teams from both England and France!
Not only does Oliver have this great opportunity to represent Australia overseas, he also has the chance to play with other boys from different NRL teams that have been selected for the international competition.

On Wednesday the Year 10 Drama Class travelled to the Opera House to view Sydney Theatre Company's rendition of the Australian classic, The Shiralee. Students will analyse the elements of production and elements of performance in their upcoming yearly exams. Christian stated: "It was amazing to be able to watch a production on such a professional level, it was so emotive".

ACYF Pilgrim Formation Day Last Friday, our five Year 10 students who will attend the Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF), along with Miss Ponce gathered for a formation session held by CYP in preparation for the festival later this year in Melbourne. They were able to meet students from other schools also attending ACYF and participated in worship and praise, reflection and met in their cluster groups.

Last week our newly elected Year 12 2025/2026 leaders went offsite to build stronger connections with each other in regards to their leadership styles, qualities and behaviours. Throughout the day students were spoken to about servant leadership, the purpose of Catholic leadership and the difference between leaders and leadership. As well as this, students had time to discuss with their portfolio partners different ways to boost the wellbeing of students across the college through different initiatives, fundraising and house games. They learnt more about our house patrons and started to strategically plan a range of events for the remainder of this year and moving into 2026. We look forward to continuing to build our student leadership team and know that this team will continue to strengthen the legacy of young student leaders in our college.
