On Tuesday, 4 November, Monique Borg received the Victor Chang Award for her achievements and excellence in Science during 2014!
The Victor Chang Institute Awards for Outstanding Year 11 Students recognises the achievements of one talented Science student in each high school in the Blacktown City Council local area.
The award consists of a framed certificate and an invitation for the student to visit the Dr. Victor Chang institute in Darlinghurst and meet with their scientists later this year! The award ceremony was conducted at Blacktown City Council Chambers on 4 November and was attended by the Mayor, council representatives, and Scientists from the Victor Chang institute.
This year Terra Sancta College award recipient, in recognition of her exceptional achievement in her Science studies, is Monique Borg. Monique will be visiting the institute to see the Scientists working first-hand on the 2nd December this year.
