Over the last two terms, a group of our Year 8 girls took part in the Orbispace Initiative, a STEM program focused on solving real-world problems through innovation and entrepreneurship. 🚀✨ After 2 terms of deep scientific research, building pitch decks and rehearsing tirelessly, the girls pitched live to real investors at the Sydney Startup Hub! 💡👏 Huge congratulations to both of our teams: 🏆 Nyctoloop – Investigated global warming and data centre cooling, winning their heat and taking home Runner-Up in the State Grand Final! 🎉 Ecolya – Explored organic waste and methane energy, delivering an outstanding pitch and winning their heat! We are so proud of the girls for their incredible confidence, dedication and brilliant ideas. The future of STEM is in great hands! 👏🌱🔥 #STEM #StJPII

🌟 Today, students in Years 7–11 officially farewelled the Year 12 Graduation Class of 2026 at the Schofields Campus. Six years ago, in 2021, this group of students began their high school journey. As a College community, we are incredibly proud of the young people who stand before us today. We pray that, as they continue into the next chapter of their lives, they will courageously open the doors to Christ and allow His presence to guide their journey. During the farewell, we reflected on the Starfish Journey and the many experiences that have shaped their time at the College. There may have been moments along the way when you have found yourself as part of this story. As you continue on your journey beyond the College, may you remember your connection to this story, to one another, and to the many memories you have created during your time here. Each year, the College presents our Year 12 graduates with a special gift as a memento of their time at the College, a reminder of the community they have been part of and the journey they have shared together. ❤️
