On 1 August, 2014, Year 9 students decked out the Schofields Performance Workshop with many beautifully decorated exhibition stalls for the 2014 Marian EXPO.
It was great showcase of the students' commitment to the role of Mary in our lives and the life of the Church.
Overall, they presented 30 apparitions of Mary from around the globe. Throughout the night, students shared how Mary has affected the lives of people where she appeared and the prayers they have dedicated to her as well as experience the local cuisine with their parents/caregivers and others from the local community.

“A message that I can take from this apparition is that there is someone always there for you when you need help. They believe that the apparitions of Our Lady of Beauraing were for the people to prepare so that they could go to heaven later in life. “The prayer cards were so beautiful and had such meaning...The decorations were so captivating and exciting. The table was filled with delicious food such as kiesh, croissants, red frogs and more. There was also many religious items located on the table that were beautiful.” Lara Cagan - Our Lady of Laus
The staff at Terra Sancta College would like to congratulate the students on such a well presented evening. The effort and thought behind each and every stall was amazing and greatly appreciated by all of those who attended.

Our Year 7s had a blast last week fitting the solar system in our school oval on a beautiful autumn day. ☀️ Sun = 1 metre wide 📏 1 metre = 1 AU (Distance from Earth to Sun) Inner Planets: Literally huddling for warmth next to the Sun. ☀️🔥 Jupiter & Beyond: We wish we had a drone to show how much further apart they are! 🛸💨 We had the Earth 1m away from the Sun and Pluto far away at 39m. This week Year 12 Biology took a deep dive into Genetic Engineering and Infectious and Non-infectious disease at the UNSW Museum of Human Disease. Students were able to interact with lead staff to apply their Biological knowledge to real life scenarios.

As part of a new pilot program, students at St John Paul II Catholic College are working with a small group of Year 5 students from St Joseph's Primary School Schofields to mentor them in Agriculture. At the Hawkesbury Show, for the first time, two Year 5 students joined us to assist with showing sheep. All students are to be commended for their hard work. We look forward to working with St Joseph's Primary School again. Well done to these students, who competed against high school students in their very first event. 🤩
