Recently, five Year 11 students from Terra Sancta College received outstanding results in their studies at the University of Western Sydney, through the unique education opportunities offered to Terra Sancta students at the Nirimba Education Precinct.
The Terra Sancta College senior campus forms part of the Nirimba Education precinct, an exciting and innovative educational concept incorporating the University of Western Sydney (UWS) and TAFE. Students are able to access university courses at UWS and/or a TAFE diploma while studying for the HSC. Students can also access Australian Catholic University courses off site while completing Year 11.
Presently, Terra Sancta students who successfully undertake and pass a UWS university course become eligible for automatic entry into UWS on completion of their Year 12 studies. So this is a fantastic achievement for these 5 students!
Congratulations to the following students:
- Monique Borg - Biodiversity - Distinction
- Keeley Chidgey - Communication in Health - High Distinction
- Megan Foong - Psychology and Health - Distinction
- Alexandra Garcia - Psychology and Health - Credit
- Katarina Porter - Introduction to Crime and Criminal Justice - Distinction
