StJPII Newsletter Term 1 Issue 2 Now Available to Download

As always, the latest newsletter is full of upcoming events, notices, updates and exciting news from both in and outside of the classrooms here at StJPII.

Living timelines, guest speakers, NAPLAN preparation and poetry writing are all recent teaching and learning strategies to read about in latest news. Also read about our compassionate StJPII community taking part in Vinnies Van, Harmony Day, Jersey Day fundraising and community service as well as the National Day for Action Against Bulling and Violence.

We also congratulate many students on their sporting and public speaking achievements in the last few weeks!

Finally, we would like to remind our StJPII community that our Schofields Office remains open during the school holidays for any enquiries or enrolment applications, as Year 7 2019 enrolments will close on Friday, 27 April.

Term 2 School Fees Reminder

Dear Parents/Caregivers

Just a reminder that Term 2 fees were posted out on Monday, 1 May 2017 and fall due/payable by Monday, 29 May 2017. Please contact Jean Webb on 9208-7239 if you have not received your statement.

Should you wish to discuss your account or apply for an extension of time please contact Mrs Jean Webb on 9208-7239.

StJPII Newsletter 2018 Term 1 Issue 1 Now Available to Download

Welcome to 2018 at St John Paul II Catholic College! We have had four weeks of exciting news and events including Year 11 Reflection Day, welcoming our new Year 7 students and their families, Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday celebrations and more. Term 1 2018 School Fees

School Fee Statements were posted to parents and caregivers last week.

Term 1 fees are due by Monday, 21 March, 2018. Enclosed with your statement is a Flexible Payment Plan should you wish to take this offer up please complete the on-line form or complete the form and return them in the self-addressed envelope provided. If you have not received your fee statement or would like to make a payment arrangement other than the Flexible Payment Plan or if you require any financial assistance, please contact Mrs Jean Webb on ph. 9208-7239.

SCHOOL FEES: Incorrect Biller Code Printed on Term 1 School Fees Statements

SCHOOL FEES NOTICE: We would like to make parents/caregivers aware that the incorrect biller code has been printed on the Term 1 School Fees statements.

For any parents/caregivers making any future BPay payments, please use biller code 565036.

For those who have already made a payment to the incorrect biller code (636068), please advise our School Fees Secretary to ensure funds are receipted correctly (call 9208 7200).

We apologise for any inconvenience!

UNIFORM SHOP NOTICE: The last opportunity to order school blazers for 2018 is next week! Students are to head to the uniform shop for fittings/orders (with a $50 deposit) either next Tuesday or Thursday.

Tuesday: 8am - 2.30pm (closed 12.45pm - 1.15pm)
Thursday: 9am - 3.30pm (closed 12.45pm - 1.15pm)

Welcome to 2018 - Information for StJPII Families

Welcome to the new school year at St John Paul II Catholic College!

As we kick off 2018, we would like to remind our StJPII families of some easy ways to 'keep in the loop' with everything happening here at the College. 

LIKE our Facebook page: Our official "St John Paul II Catholic College, Schofields & Nirimba" Facebook page is consistently updated with recent news, videos, notices and immediate updates. We courage all parents/caregivers and students active on Facebook to LIKE the page. 

DOWNLOAD our Skoolbag app: Our FREE Skoolbag app can be downloaded to any smartphone or device, allowing access to school notes, alerts, news and other important information. Simply search "St John Paul II Catholic College" in your App Store and receive instant updates in the palm of your hand!

Of course, our website remains a main source of information for anything you may need to know about StJPII and our College Office is open during the week, 7.30am - 3.30pm, to answer any of your questions (9208 7200).

Finally, today students received personalised letters including upcoming events and important information for Term 1, 2018. These documents can also be downloaded from the School Notes section of our website and Skoolbag app, along with any other correspondence distributed throughout the year.

StJPII Newsletter Term 4 Issue 9 Now Available To Download

The last newsletter for the year is here!

Newsletter Issue 9 includes the latest news, videos from our big events, staffing updates for 2018, updates from the SRC, Stages 5-6 and our ICT team as well as important notices around transactions/paying fees, the College Uniform Shop trading hours for January 2018 and other upcoming events.

We remind our StJPII community to like our Facebook page and download the Skoolbag app for instant updates and news from the College!

The last day of classes for all students will be Thursday, 14 December, with school interviews taking place afterwards from 3.30pm - 6pm, as well as 8am - 10am on Friday, 15 December. Click here for booking information.

REMINDER: All requests for leave from school must be in writing PRIOR to the leave

StJPII would like to remind all parents/caregivers that ALL requests for leave must be in writing PRIOR to the leave via email or note.

SMS responses are ONLY used for sickness or emergencies where prior notice could not be given.

Leave applications can be found under Administration in School Notes.

Further information regarding leave from school can be found under "Communication with the School" in the College Handbook.

Schofields Campus Student Drop Off/Pick Up Zone Changes

The Schofields Campus has recently upgraded the student drop off/pick up zone! The drop off zone for our Schofields Campus is located next to the College at Rose Cottage and now has a separate entry drive way and exit driveway.

Although there is some signage, we are looking to improve the signage in these areas to assist with the easy flow of traffic. We ask that parents/caregivers dropping off or picking up students please use the new entry and exit driveways as shown in the image below.

Reminder: Please Label All Belongings Brought to School

The staff at the College Office would like to remind students and parents/caregivers to please label all belongings that are brought to school so that lost property can be returned to the correct students. 

This includes uniforms, devices, stationary, sports equipment and any other important items. 

 If your child has lost any of their belonging, please advise them to visit the College Office to look at what has been handed into lost property. 

 Any questions, please feel free to contact the College Office on 9208 7200.
